I hope you all enjoyed the learning trip today as much as I did. Besides being educational, the visit to Mari's Gardens inspired great ideas for possible STEM lessons/units.
For the performance task (5-min presentation for John), I was told that Oct. 12 (Wed.) would be a better due date to allow you all more time to work on the assignment. So, the new due date is Oct. 12. If possible, please load your presentation into Googledocs or Googlewhateverworksforyou. Please share it with the entire group of STEM RTs, Derrick, Dewey, and Kasey so we will be able to view each other's work. Kasey--I'm not sure if you were planning to do this task, but feel free to contribute, if you like, and also view the other presentations. For the neighbor islanders, you are also welcomed to view the presentations.
John, would you be able to view the presentations and provide feedback by Oct. 17?
I will be sending you a post-assessment and will create a Googledoc to brainstorm possible ideas for Aquaponics STEM lessons.
